Whether it’s from sitting at a desk, lifting in the garden or playing sport, tension from strained and tired muscles can literally be a pain. I use a combination of Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy and Joint Mobilisation to assist recovery from:
- Neck, back and shoulder pain & tension caused by extended periods of desk/computer work
- Repetitive strain injuries like carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis/golfers elbow, plantar fascitis, tendonosis
- Headaches and migraines
- Recovery and management of pain & tension from exercise, sport, gardening and lifting
- Stress related tension
What happens in a session?
I use an effective range of techniques to help with recovery from pain and injury to improve movement and relaxation. The techniques I use mobilise the body’s soft tissues (muscle, ligament, tendon and connective tissue/fascia) in ways that help release tension and change painful sensations.
Muscles are moved and kneaded using the hands, forearms and elbows to help ease knots from the body reducing stiffness, releasing pressure and enhancing recovery.
