I help people to feel ‘more comfortable in their own skin’ by using touch, body awareness and education. The experience of pain or trauma can shape how we feel and move, and sometimes even our sense of self. My practice supports people looking for a deeper presence in their physicality by finding safety in the body. The more we can discern our sensations, feelings and emotions, the more choice we have in how to interact with the world around us. When we’re more able to find what we need, the door opens to more resilience, joy and wellbeing.
Since 2003 I have been in clinical practice with particular focus on pain, trauma and stress, as well as supporting psychological & emotional wellbeing. My training includes Craniosacral Therapy, Clinical Massage Therapy, Myofascial Release and Somatic Trauma Therapy.
Alongside my clinical practice, I offer workshops for body oriented practitioners that develop presence, practical knowledge of anatomy & physiology and trauma skills. I teach craniosacral therapy internationally to student practitioners with Body Intelligence Training. I also offer clinical supervision for body therapists and movement teachers.
I have the following specialisations:
- Stress related conditions
- Anxiety & depression
- Shock and trauma
- Pain, Injury and Tension
- Post-surgery care
- Long-term conditions including HIV & Cancer
I practice in both East Sussex and West Sussex from clinics in Brighton, Lewes and Haywards Heath.
