I offer clinical supervision to craniosacral therapists, massage therapists, and other bodywork and movement practitioners. This is a space to reflect on your interactions and relationships with clients and consider ethical, practical and theoretical issues that arise in your practice. The reflective space offers clarity in your understanding, beliefs and professional relationships so that you can work more effectively with your clients. It also plays a vital role in taking care of your own health for a sustainable practice.
I view our work in supervision to be a partnership where I offer support and encouragement while asking questions that challenge understanding and assumptions to stimulate learning and growth. I enjoy the process of walking alongside practitioners on their professional journey, pointing out possible obstacles and also recognising the progress of both practitioner and client. The compassion and humour I offer in supervision comes from my personal experience of the many challenges, successes and failures of being in practice.
Individual supervision is available in person in my clinic space or on Skype, sessions last for one hour at an agreed frequency. I also offer small group work in a clinical supervision and/or a tutorial basis if there is a particular area of learning that needs attention. Please contact me for more information on clinical supervision.
